Pillow Talk

I stumbled upon this cute touching project...

Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk is a project aiming to connect long distance lovers. Each person has a pillow for their bed and a chest sensor which they wear to sleep at night. The chest sensor wirelessly communicates with the other person’s pillow; when one person goes to bed, their lover’s pillow begins to glow softly to indicate their presence. Placing your head on the pillow allows you to hear the real-time heartbeat of your loved one.

The result is an intimate interaction between two lovers, regardless of the distance between them.

Joanna Montgomery is the one who started and designed this whole project (the branding, graphics and packaging for the product) and on her website she says:

Due to the volume of people I have had requesting to purchase my project, I am currently seeking investment to turn my project into a reality. Please feel free to contact me if you think you could help.

UPDATE - 25th October 2010: I am thrilled to announce that Pillow Talk has won £25,000 investment towards developing the product for market. Watch this space!

The modern hanging gardens ;)...."String Gardens"..sooo wonderful

Would you love to have a sort of hanging gardens right at your house?

Well, I know I'd love to...

So here is an amazing idea called "String Gardens"
Yes...a simple concept but innovative and looks amazing as if these "string Gardens" have come out of a fairy tale.

Our weather might make it hard to have them....but well, it doesn't do us harm to hope that we can actually have them one day ;)
Let's keep our fingers crossed...

They are really wonderful *_^

Pencil Tree

Such a novel idea...I love it and I have been wondering if I could try it out ;)

Coffee & brownies ;)

A bit of a long day...

I have finished cleaning up the house and finally I can sit and enjoy a mug of coffee (French coffee that I specially make out of a mix of different kinds of coffee and flavors ;) ). I'm also indulging myself with a piece of chocolate brownies.

Here is an amazing talent- 3D Drawing by 17 year old artist!

I have always been amazed by the genius of 3D drawings. And here is a 17-year old prodigy "who draws
objects that look like they’re about to jump off the page! In fact, by taking pictures of his art at just the right angle, it’s hard to differentiate what’s real and what’s not.
Though there is no doubt that Fredo has been inspired by artists who have come before him, such as M.C. Escher, Fredo’s art definitely has a modern twist. Some of his extremely detailed drawings even feature creepy goblins holding physical objects like a lighter or reaching out of the page for a soda can. To be able pull this off, this gifted teenager not only has a powerful imagination but an extreme amount of patience and a crazy amount of talent.".

Wonderful ....RIGHt?

It's amazing how he can imagine these drawings

and also can turn them into real tangible pieces ;)

Let me know if you like them or not ;)
